Permalac SR is a clear, one-part topcoat that is scratch-resistant. This product is compliant with VOC regulations and CA state guidelines. A base layer of Permalac, preferably two coats of Permalac NT or three coats of Permalac Original/EF, is recommended before applying Permalac SR. Once the base layers are done, one coat of Permalac SR is used as a final layer to provide scratch resistance. Permalac SR is available in both satin and matte finishes, and each gallon can cover an area of 350 square feet in a single coat.
UPS requires an additional hazardous materials fee and special spill-resistant packaging for one-gallon or larger containers. You can avoid these fees if you order in quarts.
